New version of the app will allow users to make Whatsapp Call to 8 participants instead of 4.
Wait for Whatsapp Call with 8 participants is over. Whatsapp had announced to roll out new feature of holding calls with 8 participants. In the recent update of the app on App Store and Google Play, will allow users to hold call with 8 participants instead of previously allowed 4 participants. All the users must have the updated version of the app to enjoy the new feature of Whatsapp call. The feature is enabled for both audio and video call.
“Group calling has been particularly useful and our users have asked to connect with more people at once. Starting today, we’re doubling the number of participants you can have on a WhatsApp call (video and audio) from 4 to 8 people at a time,” WhatsApp said in a statement.
Due to COVID-19, people and companies are opting to video and conference calls to contact loved ones and to conduct business meetings. Zoom saw a spike in its use during Covid-19. The video conferencing service offers the services one can expect from it.
Schools started using the service to deliver sessions to students but then came the issue of security. The “End-to-End Encryption” wasn’t up to the mark.
